We’re an independent theatre and film production company.
We develop, produce and manage all of our own productions, which have won multiple Academy Awards, BAFTAs, Tony Awards and Olivier Awards.

Simon Friend
Producer
Simon founded the company in 2015. Before that he was Producer for Theatre Royal Bath. Simon was named in The Stage 100 most influential people in British theatre, and has recently expanded into producing film and television.
Hanna Osmolska
Executive Director
Hanna’s previous employment includes Playful Productions, ETT, Mark Rubinstein Ltd, Shared Experience and Cheek by Jowl, and representing Independent Producers on the Old Vic New Voices T.S. Eliot US/UK Exchange. Hanna also lectured at City Lit in Arts Administration and has been a trustee for Upstart Theatre.


Amy Hendry
Associate General Manager
Amy has previously worked as a Production Co-ordinator for National Theatre Productions for over 4 years, managing multiple productions in the West End and on tour. Prior to this she worked at the Michael Grandage Company on West End productions. She has also worked for New Diorama Theatre, the Finborough Theatre and produced small scale independent productions in London and elsewhere in the UK.
Aaron Rogers
Associate General Manager
Originally from Dublin, Aaron has a BA from Mountview and an MA from UCL/Birkbeck. He started his producing career at Theatre Royal Stratford East & the Old Vic theatre before moving over to commercial theatre producing with the Dodgers (JERSEY BOYS UK & WEST END) and Colin Ingram (GREASE, BACK TO THE FUTURE & TIME TRAVELLERS WIFE) before joining Sonia Friedmans producing team where he stayed for several years leading on THE BOOK OF MORMON (West End & UK Tour), Tom Stoppard’s LEOPOLDSTADT (West End & Toronto) Ivo Van Hove’s THE HUMAN VOICE (West End) and OKLAHOMA! (West End)
Most recently, Aaron has finished up two years working full-time for BLOCK9 at Glastonbury Festival as a producer to the company director Gideon Berger. He worked year-round on the festival before finding his way back to the commercial theatre sector here at SFE.


Louise Farnall
Associate General Manager (Cover)
Louise has worked at Rambert for over 7 years, leading on productions including Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby (BBC Film, UK & International Tour), Death Trap (UK & International Tour), dance films Rooms, Draw From Within & Block Party (Marquee TV, Nowness & Rambert+) and co-productions with partners including Manchester International Festival, Théâtre de la Ville Paris, Selfridges, BAFTA and London Symphony Orchestra. She has also worked as an independent producer in the UK and consultant for Dragone.
Mia Franey
Production Coordinator
After graduating from the University of Leeds, Mia began working at SFE in 2023 as the Production Assistant and Office Administrator, before her new role as Production Coordinator. She has also independently produced at Edinburgh Fringe.


Poppy Maxwell
Administrative Assistant
Whilst at the University of Cambridge Poppy directed the 2023 Footlights International Tour Show. Since graduating in 2024 she has worked for Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe as the Location Manager. Now, in her spare time, she is producing a new sketch and character comedy night called The Smoke.
